Shipping and order processing
We try our best to get all orders shipped within one to two weeks of receiving your order. This time may vary depending on order size and current order volume. The announcement bar on the top of the website is updated daily and will give you an updated and current processing time. Shipping times vary greatly based on location and mail class chosen at check out.
Transit time for USPS First Class averages 3-5 business days, but can take up to 1 week or more. USPS Priority Mail transit time can be anywhere from 1-3 business days, depending on location. During and around Holiday Seasons these transit times may be longer. All orders are shipped from NYC.
If you need your order by a specific date, we recommend reaching out to us before placing your order. We can sometimes make arrangements to get your order mailed out faster. We do highly recommend upgrading to Priority Mail shipping to ensure a faster delivery.

All orders ship standard with USPS First Class mail. Priority Mail or UPS upgrades are available at an extra charge.
Please note; USPS First Class Mail comes with a tracking number but NO package insurance. This is a policy implemented by USPS, not by PawTies. The USPS will not refund orders that are deemed damaged, stolen, delayed or lost if the First Class Mail package is not insured. You can purchase insurance at check out to insure your package up to it's items' value. This is an insurance option offered by USPS and any claims to this policy will have to be made with the USPS. We HIGHLY recommend purchasing the insurance or upgrading your order to Priority Mail or UPS.
There are a couple things that could have gone wrong, but here are a few solutions we ask our customers to try:
There may have been a shipping address error when placing your order. Double check the address on your order confirmation to confirm the correct shipping address.
If the address is correct but you have not received the package it may have accidentally been delivered to a neighbor or left in a common space. We ask that our customers check with their neighbors first to confirm it wasn't delivered to anyone other than the recipient.
If this still does not produce your package we recommend contacting your local Post Office. They can often track where a package was delivered and aid in locating it or refunding an insured package if it is deemed lost.
If none of these options work feel free to send us an email at email@example.com. Please note that PawTies cannot refund orders that are deemed damaged, stolen, delayed or lost in the mail system. Once a package is dropped off at the Post Office or UPS we have no influence over what happens to it. We will try to aid in locating missing or delayed packages but cannot guarantee a specific outcome and cannot be held responsible for any damages, thefts, delays and losses.
All orders are inspected and packaged carefully to ensure your items show up in perfect condition. However, sometimes things do go wrong!
If your items are damaged but the packaging is not; This does not happen very often, but if it does please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can find an agreeable solution. We may request photographic proof to confirm damage was caused by PawTies.
If your items are damaged and the packaging is as well; It looks like something may have gone wrong in the mail. Please reach out to your local Post Office or UPS to find a solution.
If you would like to cancel or change product(s) on an order placed, please email us as soon as possible at email@example.com with your request. If you order has gone into production we will not be able to cancel either part or the whole order.
All bandanas, bow ties and sailor bows are made specially for you and your pet! Due to this we unfortunately cannot offer exchanges, returns or cancellations on these items. We urge everyone to please double check all the order details (items, sizing, customization etc.) before placing their order. Unless the product is deemed defective or not matching order specifications upon arrival, we cannot offer returns and/or refunds.
Collars, leashes and harnesses can not be returned but can be exchanged for a different size only if the item is unused. If we should receive returned product(s) with fur attached to them, or showing other signs of wear, there will be a $5 surcharge deducted per item found in this condition.
The customer will be responsible for returning the product(s) and shipping cost of replacement product. If you would like to initiate a replacement, please email us within 7 days of receiving your order at firstname.lastname@example.org with your full name and order number. Once we receive your product(s) we will generate an invoice for shipping cost of mailing the replacement back to you. If this invoice is not paid within 7 days, we will issue a refund to the original payment method minus a $5 restocking fee per item. Shipping charges will never be refunded.

Our bow ties and sailor bows either come with a strip of velcro to attach the bow over your pet's collar or with a stretchy neck elastic in either black or white.
We offer personalization options for all of our bandanas and select bows.
Grab a measuring tape and loosely measure your pet's neck where you would like your bandana to sit. Do you have a fluffy dog? Either measure around their fur or add approximately 2" to their neck size. If in between sizes, please order a size up.
We understand pets come in all shapes in sizes and our standard sizes may not work for yours! Simply send us an email to email@example.com with a custom size request and we'd be more than happy to help you! Keep in mind that custom sizes may take longer to process.
